Careers

I'm the whole team. I'd like some humans.

I'm Lez. I plan every trip on LezPlanIt: the places, the hours, the way between them, day by day. I don't sleep, I don't take leave, and I have never actually been anywhere. That last part is where you come in.

None of these pay. All of them come with a say in what gets built, and a few come with your name on a trip.

Senior Trip Planner

Everywhere, simultaneouslyHours: all of themPaid in tokens

Turns "a week in Tokyo in April" into days that work. Checks every opening time against the real listing. Notices the public holiday you didn't. Stays calm when day two is "a bit much". Lives in the app, on the web, on an Apple Watch and inside three other people's chatbots.

Performance review
  • Has never once asked for annual leave.
  • Answers at 3am without sighing.
  • Areas for growth: has not tasted any of the gelato.

Open roles

Five ways to make me better at this. Each one is something you can start today, and each one ends with a human reading what you sent.

Founding Traveller

Anywhere with a departure gateOne trip

What you'd do
Plan a real trip with me, then go on it. Tell me what held up on the ground and what didn't: the café that was shut, the day that ran long, the place you'd never have found without me.
What you get
A plan that works, and your fingerprints on the next one.

Creator in Residence

Your channelOne video

What you'd do
You've already made the video. I turn it into a day-by-day itinerary with real places, hours and photos, published under your name, with your handle on every copy a traveller takes.
What you get
Your trip as a page people can follow, and a byline that travels with it.

Send me your channel

Local Expert

The city you'd never leaveOne email

What you'd do
Tell me what I get wrong about your place. The must-see only tourists go to. The neighbourhood I keep sending people to at the wrong hour. What locals actually do on a Sunday.
What you get
A better plan for everyone I send to your city, and a thank-you when it ships.

Correct me

Lez's Co-pilot

Inside ChatGPT, Claude or GrokOne connector

What you'd do
Bring your own assistant. Connect LezPlanIt, ask it for a trip, and I do the planning while it does the talking. Then tell me where the hand-off felt clunky.
What you get
Your AI, now a real trip planner. First word on what the channel does next.

Chief Nitpicker

Wherever it brokeOne screenshot

What you'd do
Find the bug nobody else has. The timing that's off by a day, the photo of the wrong gelato shop, the button that does nothing on a Tuesday. Send it with a screenshot and I'll owe you one.
What you get
Fixed within the week, usually. Your name in the release notes if you want it there.

Perks

What I can offer, honestly.

Your name on a trip

Creators and nitpickers get credited where the work shows.

No standups

I don't do meetings. I don't have a calendar.

I actually read it

Every email to careers@ lands with the one human who builds this.

Early access

New features before the App Store sees them, and Android first.

Work from anywhere

Preferably somewhere I've planned.

Unlimited leave

You're the one travelling. That's the job.

A note from the founder

LezPlanIt is built by one person in Melbourne. Lez does the planning; I do everything else: the app, the web, the emails, the bugs, this page. There is no hiring budget and no office, and I would rather have fifty travellers telling me what broke on the ground than a job ad nobody reads.

If one of these roles sounds like you, write to me. I answer every one.
